We’ll travel in comfort aboard a Mercedes passenger van to Early Mountain Vineyards, followed by a special wine-tasting experience in Barboursville Vineyards’ exclusive 1821 Library.

Your VIP Winery Tour Itinerary

9:30 AM — Departure
Meet your host and fellow guests at our designated pick-up location. Settle into our comfortable Mercedes passenger van and enjoy the scenic drive through Virginia wine country.

11:00 AM — Early Mountain Vineyards
Our first destination is the beautiful Early Mountain Vineyards. Enjoy a guided wine-tasting experience and time to explore the winery, take in the mountain views, and purchase lunch.

1:00 PM — Depart for Barboursville
Sit back and enjoy the picturesque drive to one of Virginia’s most historic and celebrated wine estates.

1:30 PM — Barboursville Vineyards’ 1821 Library
The highlight of our afternoon will be a special tasting inside Barboursville’s exclusive 1821 Library. Discover exceptional wines in an intimate setting rarely experienced by the winery’s everyday visitors.

3:30 PM — Depart Barboursville
Relax aboard the Mercedes passenger van as we begin our return journey.

Approximately 5:30 PM — Return

Arrive back at our original pick-up location after a memorable day of fine Virginia wine, beautiful scenery, and wonderful company.

Times are approximate and may be adjusted slightly to provide the best possible experience. The final pick-up location will be announced before the tour.

Cost, Payment & Reservations

$235 per person

Your VIP winery tour includes:

Round-trip transportation aboard a Mercedes passenger van
Wine-tasting experience at Early Mountain Vineyards
Special tasting in Barboursville Vineyards’ exclusive 1821 Library
A knowledgeable tour host throughout the day
All tour planning and winery reservations

Lunch, additional wine, bottle purchases, and other personal expenses are not included.

Reservations

Space is limited to just 10 guests, and advance reservations are required.

A $75 deposit per person is required to confirm your reservation. The remaining balance of $160 per person is due by September 17. Reservations made after September 17 require payment in full.

Cancellation Policy

Deposits are nonrefundable. Cancellations received before September 17 may receive a refund of payments made above the deposit amount. After September 17, payments are nonrefundable unless your seat can be filled by another guest.

If the tour is canceled by Capon River Cruise Company, all payments will be refunded in full.

Guests must be at least 21 years old and must bring a valid government-issued photo ID. The final pick-up location and departure instructions will be provided to confirmed guests before the tour.
